They are not the cheapest but I think the console is a Japanese one which 'I think' has battery backup so the saves dont involve codes and a pen. That is what I was told by someone, could be a load of bull though.

I bought one for my 2 year old (not really for myself - honest!) £130 from Toys R Us with battery back (rechargeable, light, Mario adv, car charger, case.
If you get one, make sure you buy Doom - mine hasnt been turned off since! (actually the wife plays more than I do!)
