Angry Problems with a Solicitor

I've had an ongoing issue my solicitor. Basically he's supposed to be representing me, resolving an issue I have / had. He managed to make the situation much worse than it was before he started and is now demanding money for moving letters around. Worse thing about it all is I demanded a detailed breakdown of costs. Eventually I received it after phoning numerous times and being told it has been sent. Looking through it there are loads of error, evidence of overcharging and even entries that simply say "etc"

I've tried on numerous occasions to get an appointment with him (to discuss the over-charging) but he doesn't appear to want to see me. I reckon he's going to take me to court to recover the costs, which I feel are un-justified.

Just wondering if anyone has any good advise for me? Is there a governing body that I can complain too?

Thanks in advance, Phill

Hmm, that appears to be so difficult. I did manage to (after posting on here) speak to him and got an appointment for next Monday. I haven't paid the bill as I'm completely dissatified with the service he's given me.

Shall I telephone Law society now, or shall I meet with him first? What about discuss with a senior partner?

I can't believe they never return calls and "forget" to do things I've asked them to do They were rubbish when they "acted on my behalf" when I bought my house. They even lied to me
