Help with 80's film title.
Trying to remember the title of a film, maybe early 90's.
General plot is high school final years type film.
Lad in the film has a female friend who is not part of the in crowd, she helps him secure a date with the "Best" girl in the school but she's in love with him herself.
End of the film he realises his mistake and they get together themselves.
Wife wants me to order it and I can't think of the title.
