I found the following letter entitled 'Corks will pop when Blair bows out' on the Teletext letters pages this morning and it made me smile.

"I'm a wine shipper who was left with embarrassingly high champagne stocks after England's disastrous showing at the recent football world cup.
In advance of Mr Blair's anticipated early abdication, however, i'm besieged with orders from people across Britain, all eager to celebrate his departure.
