Anyone been 2 Manila? Any info about this city appreciated.
I have been to Thailand on numerous occasions and fancied a change, can anyone tell me how they compare?
Thanks

I went there a few years back and am going again this Christmas (not to Manila but further up North) and I love it. The thing with Manila is it is so so busy it can take 5 mins just to cross the road. Traffic is horrendous, humidity is unbearable put it's cheap and the people are great.

Very Big place
I normally stop in Cebu City at In laws house but spent a week there last year
Top of the range hotel Ask for phillapino rate not european and it will be half price !! £25 per night
Drink 25p -100 peso a bottle
women £5 -£10 for company
**** 2 pence for 20
Very busy 12-16 million population
eat out buffets from as little as 50 pence
with a country whose weekly wage is a tenner a week you can imagine how far your money goes !!
I personaly prefer cebu city as its small maybe only 1 million population
fly singapore airlines ,stop off at singapore then manila for £550 -650 ish
