Heard this on Johnny Vaughn the other morning and it was really funny - what are all the things that you swore you'd never do when you 'grew up' but have ended up doing.....?

I never thought I'd be the sort of person who tutted at teenagers, or listened to TOTP and said they didn't make songs like they used to. (And I was a teenager in the '80s!!)

 

I have tutted at TOTB and said they dont make teenages like they used to

 

Never thought id be the sort of person to say to my kids 'stop running with that lolly pop in your mouth'! Scared the s**t out of myself when I realised Im turning into my Mom!

 

Never thought I'd be the sort of person who would be so universally loved across the globe because of the internet!!

her favourite line to me

"you're not going out dressed like THAT are you?"

The body can take some abuse

 

I never thought id be the sort of person to lick a hanky and wipe food off my son's face!

Grossed me out when my mum used to do it to me, but it is really effective!

 

Its all part of growing up and attaining maturity. With experience of life you learn what is important.

Never thought I'd be the sort of person who looks at large comfy cars and thinks "Hmm, be nice to have one of them"

 

I knew I was old when I was giving my 6 year old nephew a lift somewhere and said "of course, when I was your age, all of this was fields"

 

never thaught id look a working mans bar and wounder if the ale is cheap.
And get annoyed at load night clubs
