Ive never really looked into this sort of thing before and dont know what you can tint.
i understand you cant tint the windscreen. can you tint the rear screen?

Don't know the rules, but surely "a really light tint" is fine everywhere? It's the stuff that screws up your visibility at night / in tunnels that's the prob. I'd have thought.

The legal position is that the front side windows on all cars must allow 70% of light to pass through them. That figure also applies to the windscreens of cars first used before April 1985; any car first used from then onwards has to let 75% of light through the windscreen.
You can put what you like elsewhere.

Poor guy - whats happened to your GT6?

Or is this off road having the engine work\supercharging you were on about?

Did you get it repaired to your satisfation after the bump it had oop rear? - may have done you a favour in the end? half restored at someone else's cost....

ps - I'll second the 'you dont pimp a classic' - if you can call a Triumph 2000 classic.......its just wrong.

the GT6 is awaiting is new alloy water pump housing bits and fitting of electic pump. work on the back end is good but needs to go back as some paint is peeling. hes going to do it for free. also, just as i got it back on the road some *** opened their door into my bonnet while i was in the pizza shop need to have that tapped out.

those litle mirrors are great for the blind spots. the 2000 was voted best towing car in its class for years. might be something to do with that. no idea.its standard.

it was previously owned my a mod. A mod software technition for the army.

Note that the 70% VLT rule is total and cumulative, so if your car already has Sundym glass or similar fitted to the front sides, which would probably be around 20% tint, then you would only be allowed a further 10% tint before it is illegal

Yes, go to a smoky city centre and wait for it to rain. Don't wash the windows afterwards.

Would look good with some two tone chome/black Halibrand replicas

Slightly smaller/narrower at front and bigger at back

Oh, and get all the chome fittings re-chomed in black chrome (like the ST24 wheels)

The triumph hub PCD is tiny! - You'll struggle to find any wheel to fit it these days I reckon.....
