Quick tasty snacks?
My fav is a variation of beans on toast. 1 can of Heinz baked beans, with a dollop of tomato ketchup for that extra tomato flavour. 2 Slices of thick white toasted bread, and some grated Canadian extra mature cheese sprinkled ontop. On the plate in 10 minutes tops.

Ham, mushrooms mozzarella between two slices of bread and stuffed in a toastie machine (or George Foreman) washed down with a Red Bull. Brilliant for when taking a break mid essay (latter only when doing all-nighter).

1 pita bread, cut in half, throw the 2 bits into a toaster, when done put 2 slices of cheese into each with a pepperoni slice or 2, sling in the microwave for 30 seconds
If you wanna stretch things out: mix up some tuna, sweetcorn and mayo then fill each half of toasted pita and eat-dont microwave. Very filling if you have 2 of each, cost is literally pennies and takes 5 mins all in.

No time for cooking bacon - shred in some good quality ham instead.

My current fave snack of choice is a rather nice way I discovered to have miso soup with noodles for less than 50p. Not a bad deal if you like Japanese food.
Basically you buy Tesco value noodles for 8p, any flavour is fine because you throw the flavour scahet away and just make them in water. Then tip the water away which gets rid of all the ****e in the noodles.
Then make up a bowl of miso soup using two of the sachets (it's 85p for 5, again from Tesco) and dump the noodles in.
Instant noodles that don't taste like crap. Result.
Or if all that is too much like effort. microwave Chicago Town Pizzas and Fries-to-go are always handy to have in reserve.

Two slices of white bread, onto one slice put any or all of the following, chopped for easy ingestion: onions, cheese, ham, tomatoes, and anything else which takes your fancy. Heat some oil in a large frypan. Place the other slice atop the filled slice and fry until the contents start to melt. Turning over the "westerner" once. Yum

Another ace 15 min meal is , boil up some pasta, twirls are best.
Whilst this is going on cut some suasages into 1.5M chunks and grill these turning so they are brown all over.
At the same time gently brown some onions.
When ready drain the pasta adding sausages and onions together and stir in two tablespoons of pesto, a teaspoon of mustard and season to taste.
Very nice, easy to make and got a bit of a kick dependant on how much mustrad you add. You can also add a touch of honey which works nicely.
