Default Busines class to Vancouver

How come I got business class to Australia for £2200 return yet I can't get anywhere near that price for Vancouver (for a flight which is half the distance).

Can anyone help?? After sensibly priced business class flights to Vancouver.

Thanks!

Nice one.

You got to say where you'd travelled business class, the price you paid, and where you want to go, all in one post. Good work.

I'll chalk this up as a chav post

Yes, I often pay £2500+ for business class return to Aus/NZ but don't seem to be able to find trans-Atlantic for much cheaper.

Cheeky git !!

Was referencing the Oz thing cos the cost seemed wrong in relation.

Oh well, looks like it'll be an el-cheapo flight after all cos i'm not paying 2 grand or more to get to Canada.

I heard that too mate. If I recall, the food was quite superb.

Atleast they use proper planes now, and not those old lockhead things. lol. Remember the look of relief when Lee saw the nice shiny new Airbus A310??

Should be able to get BA for under £3000-the price difference is probably down to the popularity of the routes vs passenger loads.

Failing that, get stanstead ( ) to JFK on maxjet all business class, which should cost you £800 (thats £800 for a return ticket!!), then fly busines from JFK to vancouver with american or canadian etc. Should work out a lot less than £2200- probably less than £1500.!
I have flown maxjet a couple of times and the service is almost as good as BA J class- only bugger is they have one flight a day and fly from stanstead. If you can deal with that then its all good.

Think I'll just go with air Transat.

£300 return from Gatwick to Vancouver in an A330.
