I saw 1 in Tesco this afternoon, about £180 for a 32" or 28", can't remember!

Check out their website!

Pointless buying a top brand TV these days!! I work for Asda and I can get you a pure flat 28" for £170. Double hard bargain!

There is a Sharp 28" widescreen that goes for under 200 in the classifieds section at back of WHAT HI FI magazine.

Why do you say that. I did however see a Goodmans 28" flatcreen for £179 and the picture looked as good as top names like Sony etc. Currys do an Daewoo IDTV 28" for £199.

Most of the components are generic and there are only 3 manufacturers of the tubes worldwide these days so you'll find the quality pretty much the same across the board. Ok Panasonic usually have good sound and Sony have a better picture but most makes are pretty much the same.

I would just buy a pureflat 28" for 180 quid, you'll be happy with the picture and sound + it will last you atleast 3 years.....cant complain when I bought my 32" for 1600 quid and now its worth shirt buttons
