I want to update my 25" Mitsibishi black diamond to a flatscreen/widescreen but dont want to spend more than £300. Any tips, seen any good CRT bargains lately.

Most of the components are generic and there are only 3 manufacturers of the tubes worldwide these days so you'll find the quality pretty much the same across the board. Ok Panasonic usually have good sound and Sony have a better picture but most makes are pretty much the same.
I would just buy a pureflat 28" for 180 quid, you'll be happy with the picture and sound + it will last you atleast 3 years.....cant complain when I bought my 32" for 1600 quid and now its worth shirt buttons
