In a little while Im departing to do the Scumball rally. Its a bit like the Gumball rally, but with much ****ter cars. The main entrance rule is that you're not allowed to compete in anything costing over 500 quid.In the end I found a J reg Carlton GSI 30024V for a mere 200 quid. Since then i've been preparing it for the rally.With important things like the radio and GPS system all plumbed in, it was time to get the car looking right.It was no picnic putting all this together after a weekend of 4 raves in 3 days, but with some fantastic support from those who know who they are (respect is due 8) ) I managed to get the car's visuals just about finished yesterday.Here are a few pics. Quality. Where is the rally "aiming" for? Are you allowed breakdown cover?

 

The route has not been disclosed yet. I have no idea where we're going, honest.
And breakdown cover has been appropriated, although on Monday I drove it from South East London to Bath and back without a hiccup (even the cruise control worked) so as shakedown tests go, its a good sign.

good luck astraboy. i had a quick look at the scumball3000 web site and have to say it looks like good, affordable fun. have been talking about it in our office and might see you there next year!! (unlikely, but certainly worth considering)

ps - why didn't you sign up to the locator thingy?
