So come on then, whats the fastest speed you have got out of any car on any track in any version of Gran Turismo...

I vaguely remember doing over 200 in a heavily modded Skyline on the oval ring in GT2.

Well now, I'd better go and purchase a PS2 and GT3 in order to defeat your speed. I'd never have considered doing so unless you'd posted this thread, it will put me in debt!!

Flame suit on, I'm being sarcy

ISTR having had just short of 400 km/h in GT1 (Skyline again). 834 km/h is ridiculous -- there's no way an Escudo could keep any of it's wheels on the ground at that speed regardless of 'downforce tweaks'

359km/h in the Unisa Jecs Skyline, think the track was that oval
shaped one?? and then the rev limiter kicked in. I'll try the
Escudo tomorrow and see what results I get!

I think the 800+ KPH is the Escudo's is a bug or an easter egg. Get all the setting from the website above, bung on the stage 4 turbo. You can do a massive wheelie the lenght of test track before smaking the wall and losing 500kph in a fraction of a second. You can even get whiplash in your living room going this fast

Wink

I think you get it when you win all the rally comps. Stage 4 Turbo gives 1881 BHP. Handling isn't great

183Mph in me mates souped up twin turbo Yaris :O

We were all into racing model cars at one time, so we changed the controller configuration to work using the sticks.

My bud, who still races model cars in the world champs was simply a blinder with that setup.

I'd reccomend it to anyone who's used a model car before.

Regards
Kurt
