Im thinking of investing some money into some shares,but as this would be my first time,i would like to know,basically how its done and where's the best place to invest i.e.Microsoft e.t.c.Also i heard this can be done on the Net??????

Have a look at the Motley Fool site, loads of info, including on-line brokers

 

I use <a href="http://www.comdirect.co.uk">ComDirect</a> for online trading, had no problems so far.

Hey don't knock shares - I just got some dividends on some shares I own which came to a wallet bursting... 13 pence.

I use www.sharepeople.co.uk for on-line trading and have found them to be very good, no wrong trades yet.

On line trading is definitely the way to go, no messing about trying to get through to dealers on the phone, not such a problem at the moment but two years ago you would have been in trouble if you needed to execute a trade quickly.
