Question Sony Ericsson 750i problem

I lay myself at the mercy of scoobynet to end my mobile pain.

I just bought a 750i from 02. Stuck in my orange sim card - phones works perfectly (just using my free minutes till end of contract from the orange gits).

Anyway, I cant access the memory stick in file manager - I see folders but cant access them at all. Essentially the memory stick does nowt.

Is this connect to my sim change? Or is just fecked.

I await the wealth of knowledge coming my way

i take it its a gsm unlocked phone...??

i went from orange to o2...

i just plug the cable in and look in my folders for removable disk, (it used to come up as a moble device, but windows xp has a hissy fit and now it wont show up in explorer but only in my computer)

once you see it and click on it you should see three folders...

dcim camera piccys

mp3 obvious

mssemc thats your memmory stick....

you need to read the manual to understand how it works... its not conventional to say the least

and when your bored flash it to a w800i then it becomes fun..

installing the software takes time, or at least mine did. It took me a while before I could see my phone in the Ericsson file manager bit. It seems that this only shows phone memory

Like previous posts have pointed out, the easiest way to access the mem stick is to go via the exporer window, juts look for the additional drive icon.

Then stick a 2gb card in there and you're off
