There was a bit on 'Loose Women', ITV about cosmic ordering. You 'place an order with the universe' and you get it, so it seems.

Apparently it works too. (I myself fail to see how it could possibly work, although there are books and stuff on it for sale!)

Anyone shed anymore light on it - google isn't proving very helpful!

Scott Adams (the Dilbert cartoonist) is very hot on this - he attributes his success to the fact that he wrote "I will be a rich and successful cartoonist" (or some such) 15 times a day until it happened - although he probably had to draw some cartoons and send them to newspaper editors as well.

He had some pseudo-scientific explanation for how it works - according to quantum theory there is an infinite number of universes and everything must therefore happen in at least one of them, so by this process you are navigating your consciousness to the universe of your choice.

The old adage "be careful what you wish for" comes to mind - for example, wish to lose some weight and you might wake up minus a leg!

Suffice to say I think it is a load of b*****ks!

If you work on the basis that every future event has a probability of occurring from 0 to 1, then anything that has a probability of greater than 0 may occur. Obviously if you take steps to influence the outcome, then the probability increases. Personally I think getting off your *** and trying to achieve your goals is more likely to increase the chances than sitting at home staring at the stars, but that's just MO.

If anybody mentions quantum theory as an explanation and they don't work at CERN or such, then you can pretty much assume that everything that follows is bo**cks. The amount of crap that is attributed to quantum or string theory is staggering.

I really don't know enough about QT to say if that is true or not, but it sounds unlikely, even just the first bit.

Well, I've just crawled out of bed after an twenty hour session with afore mentioned latin model.

I was giving up hope, as she didn't arrive immediately, the bath did go cold, but this **** really works!

I have just asked the cosmic universe for the new Koenigsegg. After I've been for a spin in this, I shall probably be asking for Jennifer Aniston. Maybe Kylie as well. Don't know if I can order both at the same time but I'll let you know.
