Default thats our evening ruined!!

Fecking typical!!!

the mrs notes that the toilet is filling slowley, so duley dispatched i turn of the water at the inline isolator.. and strip the cistern ballcock unit, job done water back on easy peasy...

then 2 hours later i,m in the kitchen and drip drip... water comming through the ceiling... f*ck run upstairs and cant see anything.. the loo isnt overflowing.. but theres a pool of water by the mains feed....

blox the inline isolator is now weeping.... tried tightening it no joy.... so ive had to turn the mains off and drain the tank in the roof...

so now got no water until tommorow... havnt got a cap so i cant cap the pipe, and i certainly havnt got a new flexi pipe...

and the residual head from the roof tank is ensuring that the pipe still drips...

wonder how many towels that will take to soak up

and b&q is most definatly closed!!

ah well , guess what i,m doing tommorow!!!

I know your pain - water board fukked my water pressure, and as a result, toilet went totally **** up.

Shame was that the previous owner had forgotten to install the overflow pipe, so it overflowed into my ktichen via the lights!!!

Tried to turn the water off, but the stop **** had cr@p in it from the water works

Not much fun. I hate plumbing - give me leccy any day

Hope you get it sorted

Dan

all done

one new flexi hose & inline isolator, mind you i had to shorten the inlet mains feed by 2inches, to prevent the flexi hose from kinking to much..

a slight weep from the cistern coupling, but that was nipped up,

normal service is resumed as they say...

off to mow the lawn now!!
