Unhappy

OUCH!!!

Hell of a smack on the P1 - £10,000 in 15 months? thats a lot more than just a Std. UK Spec. loss - so much for 'Classic Status'!!

Let us know whether the M3 is really better than a Scoobie ............. when the novelty has worn off! get back OUTSIDE in it NOW!!

Cheers Mate

Thurleigh sounds good, perhaps old "shaggy" hardman might make an appearance again.
That is if his mystery bus is still pushin the pistons

Sith - I wouldn't be so sure. My BM dealer replaced several items which I personally feel i destroyed. Brake disks and steering rack at 60000 miles. Brake pads with 8000 miles on them. M-Tech springs at 52000. I would call these wear and tear items, but Bavarian in Belfast call them warranty. Who am I to argue with a dealer?

MrData you amase me.
Do you really think that will be the case.
If I want I could sell the car now a nd make a small profit. I`ve already had several offers.
I will keep the car 3 years and yes I will loose money for sure but I dont feel HAD like the whole Subaru experience.
I remember driving my P1 away from the dealership just over a year ago and looking in the inside of the car and thinking where has my £34K gone. At least I now have a car that is actually worth its asking price.
IMHO no Subaru or Mitsubishi is worth £30K plus. I do however feel that the Skyline is worth its asking price as it is very exclusive and has a lot of bells and whistles.
Lets face it the P1 didnt even come with a firkin stereo.
Nuff said.
I just hope the UK300 doesnt suffer the same fate. I personally think the whole Subaru/Mitsubishi bubble has well and truly burst.
The P1 was always meant to be EXCLUSIVE but they ruined that by over producing the number of cars. That was the main problem, plus the cars should have had all the bits on for the £31500 asking price.

Amazing how the wheel turns isnt it Arron??

I well remember, about 10 months ago?, you and I having a ping pong about the P1 - you saying it was the best thing that £30k+ could buy. Me saying that it wasnt worth the metal it was printed on!

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Paid 27,000 for my X reg P1, but sold it back to the dealer for 24,000 a few weeks back. Only kept the P1 for 5-6 months.
Good luck with the M3 and hope you get your moneys worth this time.

Have to agree with Aaron.

Hope you enjoy your new car as much as I'm enjoying my E36 EVO.

I was sad to sell my Turbo, but I grew out of it. They're so cheap now, all the idiot kids are buying them and giving all the existing owners a bad reputation.

The BMW is in a different league, including the dealer.

SGT Ricky but remember how much they gave me for it when negotiating.
Pete I have never said that the P1 is good value for money. I think if you use search you will see that the content of my threads is pretty consistent.
But for once you and I agree on something

It doesn't have gold wheels, either, so perhaps that's two things you agree on?

Glad you're happy - lucky git. Any plans on going to Donnington?
