got paid with these on ebay. Do they get cashed in a post office/paid into bank....? ? or is this a stupid question.

 

If they are crossed they go in the bank if uncrossed you go to the post office with them and pay the postage with them and hopefully get change back

 

You go to the post office and exchange them for stamps to the value of. Useful just before Christmas

If crossed need to go into bank account.

If uncrossed just get cash at PO.

They are usually crossed as that makes them more secure when posted.

 

I took mine into HSBC and they put them in as cheques, they had stamps on them

 

when i said postage i just meant you can use them to pay your postage bill for the items you are posting i always ask for them uncrossed so that i do just that with them


Feels good coming out with change after taking a pile of jiffy bags in to post

 

Any type of postal order can be cashed at any post office.

Stamps may be stuck on them to increase their value to the desired amount.
