Question iPod Nano

Partly in response to a thread hijack on a similar topic, and with a view of buying one with my Christmas bonus, what are your lots opinions on these??

I know the earlier ones suffered from cracked screens, has this been rectified?

Also, my car stereo has a USB port, do the iPod's come with a USB connector?I beleive the charge is USB, but can this be used for my stereo aswell?

Cheers,

Matt

Now you have killed my thread!!

I mainly want to know about the adapter to my CD Player, but also if the build quality has been resolved.

Not like you asking for 'sync' help

I was thinking about getting one of these. The screens haven't been fixed, they just supply it with a cover now which is basically an admission that there is a problem.
I think I am gonna get the 30gig iPod Video now as it isn't that much more expensive, has lots for storage space and compared to older iPods is very slim.

I use one of those skin things and have had no problem with the screen, I just look after it.

It does sync Contacts with Outlook and Outlook Express and Calenders from Outlook. It's been a bit iffy on mine however, duplicating some entries, missing others, etc. No doubt Apple will sort it eventually... As for scratches, you will wonder how the flaw passed Apples quality control dept. You're not talking about scratches from kicking it down the road but from wiping off finger marks with a clean cloth - it's that bad, both the front plastic and the rear metal. Get a cover.
