light pollution?
whats the law refarding thiu, anyone know??
as all the propertys near us are bungalows, we never had much to worry about at night, it would get nicely dark and we could do some occasional stargazing..
last year, the council took all the sodium streetlights out and put those high intensity ones up... and to really p*ss us off now no longer turns them off at 1am...
ok we can live with that.... it dosent affect us that badly but its annoying..
then in the last moth they have added two f*ck off great halogen style lamps to the old peoples home opposite luckily no windows face our way, but because of these f8cking lights, we now have a fairly illuminated bathroom and bedroom
so we now have to draw the curtains to get some dark...
is there any legislation we can invoke to get either these lamps removed, or turned off??
