Question Guildford to Hammersmith

Out-of-date ex-Londoner here

Need to take some band stuff to a studio in Hammersmith (Goldhawk Road actually) tomorrow for 12 midday.

Do I go M25 and then M4 or keep on A3 and say, go over Putney Bridge?

When should I leave Guildford - 10-ish?? Thanks, David

Devil or Deep Blue Sea!!

Personally I'd take the A3 (I live in Weybridge), but listen to the radio to make sure there's nothing sh!tty before you set off.

Weybridge eh? I knew there were some posh types on SN

But thanks for that. I think I will plan for A3 as at least I can try another route if problems. If there's an M25/M4 problem then that's it for a couple of hours! Leave at 10 then?? David

Yep - 2nd that & that time of day BUT

A3, Roehampton Vale, Hammersmith Bridge,, Broadway, up to the Bush, whack a left & its 1/2 mile on RHS (150/Townhouse?). Not worth playing with King St/Hammersmith Grove then for what it may/may not give in seconds & Putney Hi St/Bri & Fulham Palace Road is always cr@p.
