Unhappy why am i pizzed off at a mte who has barely done anything ?

To cut a long long story short,...

Why is it that some people jus get things on a plate an others will eternally struggle throughout their lives to make ends meet, where is the justice ??
has anyone got a heartwarming tale that might raise my spirits atall?

I do know that i really cant complain as there is others far far worse off than me, but every now an then, it jus gets to me a bit, thas'all.

Thanks in advance.

I know a story about a guy who payed attention at school during English lessons. He learned all about spelling and punctuation. He went on to get a good job and all his friends thought that he'd had things handed to him on a plate

PS Only joking mate....unfortunately life just works out like that for some people

It's fate, ure even born lucky or not imo. Also how you look or talk is a big factor. Some of the nicest ppl I know are alienated purely on how they look or communicate, and hence they dont seem to get so far in their personal/professional lives as other complete ***** I know.

As ade edmondson says in bottom,

'ure born, u keep ure head down, and if ure really lucky, u die'

Worry about your life and the stuff you can control - no point getting upset with what's happening to other people - gets you nowhere fast !

But remember - you make your own luck !

I had a "mate" that butt-fcuked me for about £600.

Such a shame when all my other mates decided he wasn't worth speaking to anymore

My misses does tend to look over the fence and moan that others seem to have more than us etc etc.

I try and explain that other peoples finances will just never make sense and how people afford things when their money is no more than ours is beyond me. Best not to worry about it and just get on with what you've got.

I have to say though, one of our neighbours isn't shy when flashing her cash around and seems quite obsessed with pointing out how much she is spending. Her husband is a deep sea diver in UAE somewhere so earning wads of cash and all tax free at that. He's home one month out of four or something like that and personally no money would make me leave my child for months at a time.

Swings and roundabouts really. People aren't happy just becuase they have money. All money does is give you a choice it doesn't gaurantee happiness. I know someone whose father sold the business for £20million. She still jumped out a window a while back!!!

Without wanting to be too topical, here's a suggestion. Imagine Bob Geldof saying the above and looking at you. Does that change your perspective?

OTOH I know how you feel as my son goes to an expensive school where most of the parents appear to earn triple my salary. And every now and then he drops a hint about how it's not fair that people he knows get bought, say, quad bikes or brand new computers for their birthdays [and he doesn't]. Of course, he doesn't say anything about the immigrant kids in the local ghettos a few miles away.

presumably your not from the uk as i didn't realise we had GHETTOS here?? maybe i'm wrong. As to them being immigrants why are they here ask that question first either (a) it's greener on this side than theirs or (b) they really are being persecuted and HAVE to come to the land of milk and honey

i'll give you a small insight (people i'm not making this a bragging thread just statement of fact)

i was unemployed 13 years ago for 14 months, my dad introduced me to a friend of his who needed someone to do work for him as he couldn't get ANYONE to do it. I jumped at the chance, FIRST day I rang my wife and said we could do this for a living. The second day I asked "if I went self-employed would you mind me doing this in other areas " he said fine no problems.

the rest is history as they say, no i'm worth a good 7 figures.

Paul - I'm in Portugal. There is massive immigration from Angola, Cabo Verde, Mozambique, Brazil, and Ukraine.

As to VP, I made my own luck by saving money to buy a car I desperately wanted and to be the envy of my friends. Then six months later I sold it, and used the money to buy a one-way ticket to Russia with nothing other than a language course and a non-paying internship booked.

Now I'm worth something but I don't fritter it away on Porsches.

were steadily moving down the country Milton keynes is next on the list then circle london (too much competition-initially) then heading your way by early next year.

unfortunately the only person that really makes it is the man at the top, however i do have people working for me that earn @ £45,000 per year.
