It all started innocently enough back on the obscure music channels in sky last year. But thats where I developed my hatred for them. That was fine as I could just about cope, but they have now progressed through to channel 3.

Today, they were on virtually every single ad break on 3. That means I saw that very punchable little grey face with his blacked out willie every feckin 10 minutes. I can even hear them now on the ad breaks between the soaps!

Who the hell is buying these ringtones, you should all be shot!!!!

Very true, that thread was on the third page Couldn't be bothered searching that far back to avoid SIAL.

I like the message in the main page of the Advertising Standards Agency though. Basically saying we know everyone is pissed off about this, but please leave us alone, we cant take anymore either

One easy way to get around it Stop watching telly Put a dvd on instead I have

 

I keep my Sky+ controller near me know and when the friggin thing comes on I jsut pause it for 15 secs or so and then press the stop button and it's on the next add.

Just got £39 back from Jamster. My youngest daughter stupidly sent a text for a ringtone, and then kept getting all her credit wiped out. Took a few months for us to find out and a few well worded emails, but just got my Bank Of America cheque through the door today.

In a great big **** off mansion with many nice cars I would imagine ! I cant believe how many millions they have made from a sound byte from the internet ! As much as I hate it myself the people behind it are very good at selling it. The way it has evolved so as to keep the ringtone geeks interested is clever to say the least.
