.....watching the simpsons and hollyoaks has thrown 6 ******* frog adverts I cant stand any more, its too much

Used to be easy to avoid the frog when it was on the music channels.. now it's on terrestrial tv !!

 

I can beat that. 8 times during Star Trek, Sky One. Twice on Nick Jr. Twice during Simpsons again, on Sky One.

I can't feckin stand it anymore!

And on one of ITV`s prime shows i:e Corrie they`ve just thrown it in.
Was good when I first saw it with the Ferrari on tnet but it`s now pi$$ing me off big style.

Until last week, when I made the mistake of actually watching a programme at the time it was broadcast, I actually had *no idea* what the frog was. Ignorance, it would seem, truly is bliss.

 

Have become quite adroit at hitting the mute button when that little hoppity creature comes along.

Well I just punched it 1006 times, I'm not feeling that much better either

 

Was released as a single on 16th May. Fortunately it seems no-one's prepared to give it airtime as I've certainly never heard it.

Including pre and post pogramme breaks I suffered it 10 times during Scrubs on E4 last night.

Crazy frog was the brianchild of Daniel Malmedahl, 24 a Swedish computer components salesman. He created the sound in 1997 when he recorded himself impersonating his friends moped.
In 2003 Erik Wernquist, 27 another swede drew the cartoon character and made it available to download on computers.
Jamster then snapped it up and has been kin annoying us ever since.

 

it's even worse when the frog adverts are followed by sweety and his mate then the dragon one....arrghhhhhh !!!!

 

Watching the stupid frog 3 times in one ad break on channel four the other night was too much.

The advertising must be costing a fortune, who is responsible?

Apparantly 2 million people have downloaded the frog ringtone. So that is 6 million quid, assuming that they all remember to cancel their subscriptions in the first week. Now we know why there are sooooo many ads
