It's similar to the powerade tv ad (you can see it here on the snopes website). Some very clever video editing.

If they really could make shots like that the NBA would be biting off both their arms and legs (which would be problematic as they'd not be able to make the shots anymore )

I did wonder if they were fake or not. I've now put it down to kids with too much time on their hands and plenty of takes!!
