How dated and pointless that programme seems now that we have begun the 'bust' part of the cycle. (No pun intended)

The concept of buying run down property and doing it up cheaply to sell on at huge profit is a concept whose time has gone. At least in the UK for the foreseeable future.

should think this series (Prop Ladd) will sort the men from the boys now that property prices are stabalising. No get rich quick luck this time.

 

Yeah pretty clear which direction house prices will be going - however if you watched 'Real Story' on BBC1 last night you would have been given the impression the market was BOOMING!! Their 'property expert' suggested some FTB's should go to extreme lengths, borrowing almost 20 times their income to buy, and secure the mortgage on their parents homes!!!

Totally irresponsible advice - it took vested interests in BBC docs to another level - I actually complained the the BBC about the programme.

 

No one ever listens to the advice theyre given on Property Ladder though

They seem to have changed the demographic for this series and dumbed down considerably.

A Chav from Chingford with an IQ of about 10, financed by a saddo who no doubt wants to buy his way into her thong.

But it'll be OK as she does up and decorates...... dolls houses!!

always makes me laugh how they ignore SBs advice,they forget she has made a fortune from property and is a recognised expert.I one old bloke ignored her and was proven right in a previous series

I just can't understand why ppl don't listen to SB's advice? As someone else has mentioned earlier she has made (probably alot of) money in this area so she obviously knows what she's talking about.

Last night being a perfect example - SB advises to move the bathroom so you still get a 2nd double bedroom, but nope The first couple that view it and the bloke walks in to the 2nd room and his comment? "Box room".........

Still gonna watch the series cos SB's lurvlee
