New Speed Camera on A14 Newmarket.
...where A11 joins A14 at Rowley Mile and A14 becomes a three lane section, just west of Newmarket.
Be forewarned this is going to catch alot of people unawares when it's switched on because camera is not very visable from the fast lane.
Another piece of straight, fast and safe road....subjected to a tax.
Have used this bit of road for years and never seen an accident at that spot.
Time for someone to get a can of fourstar and a box of swan vesta.

Did a few trips up and back from Norfolk last weekend....Saw it there with the cover on....What a bunch of Sh1tters....I make quite a few trips per year up and back and I have to agree that I have never seen an accident there.

I did pass one accident there, about 2 1/2 years ago - a jack-knifed/stranded lorry, the day after the M11 had been shut for snow. I'm sure it would have been caused by someone doing 75mph, and not the fact that the entire road was snowed up and frozen because they'd decided they didn't have the budget to grit it
I guess they decided it wasn't worth allocating budget to stopping 100s of cars getting stranded overnight, as they were saving up for a speed camera "to prevent accidents"
