It looks like theres a pricing war between the ferry companies on the dover calais crossings with the established ferry companies trying to price out the new speed ferries from indercutting them. A similiar thing happened years ago when laker airlines tried to intorduce cheap transatlantic flights only to be undercut by the established comptetetition. The result was that they managed to break laker and once they were gone jacked up all the prices again!!

So everyone who likes the trip to europe in their scoob, off the nurburgring, france etc please support speed ferries. If they go bust the days of 50 quid returns will be long gone and we'll be looking at 200 quid for a simple return trip.

I don't work for speedferries or any ferry company for that matter....just really want to keep a well priced ferry crossing going so I can get to the nurburgring as cheaply and often as possible

 

I have used them before to see family in UK and got good service.

Although now I use Euro Tunnel. £98 return and so much quicker and easier.

 

We've used them a number of times now and I've just booked another trip with them - £38 all in. Touch wood no problems as yet even with 3m swirls!

 

You're wasting your time.

Support them all you want, but P&O and SeaFrance will well and truly bury them, then jack the prices at least 200%.
