Do you wear your 'expensive' watches?
I've got a nice watch thats worth a bob .. or several
Thing is, I've never actually wore it ..
So you pay a few grand for a watch and never actually wear it, which is IMO pointless.
Do you wear your 'expensive' timepiece for special occasions only or, "**** it, I wear it down the pub as well"?

I wear my Breitling every day, I don't really have "special occasions".
Only time I don't wear it is in bed, or when working on the car etc when it would be likely to get dinged.

Cartier Santos.... never taken off unles I am doing DIY and even then quite often stays on until I remember to take it off...
As far as I'm concerned a watch is meant to be worn!

Only take Rolex off for bed.... a good watch is very hard to damage, I find, sapphire crystal etc. and they generally remove paint and crap from the bracelet and clean it up when it's serviced....

If he is referring to the Rolesor ( 18k/ss ) TT then it has been announced but hasn't started shipping yet ( in full size , laides and mid have been around for a while ), IMO the rolesium ( ss/pt ) looks much much better

No pics. It's the same design as the mid size apparently but will be full size. Gold/ss and I've ordered a white face.
Edit. Just called Goldsmiths and apparently I'll get the first one as I was first to have a deposit it. Prob another 3 month wait.

£4250 I *think*, will have to dig the receipt out, might be a little cheaper. She said there was a 5 year wait for a Daytona and their books are closed

I paid £150 for my Seiko and thought I was spending a lot
Seriously though, why would you pay that much for a watch and never use it?
