Depends what you want to go for, night life, culture, to relax etc etc etc, give us something to work with.

Try Sienna or Florence, Venice even. What about Austria? Switzerland - Zurich?

Even if you are not looking to get drunk, stoned or laid... Amsterdam is still a great city to visit.

I've been there with mates, with girlfriends and on a stag do!!

Cancel boat tours, architecture, museums, gallerys, etc.

It's small enough to do a majority of the city in a long weekend, depending on what sort of experience you are after.

That said, I've been there so many times (6 times in 18 months!!), I think Italy and Spain are the next countries we will try!

Or go to Rome, stay in the Trastevere district, forget the tourist crap, get merry on wine and pasta and sit and watch the crowds go by

Out of those choices I'd say Barcelona, or Amsterdam if you want it a bit "interesting"

denmark, you couldnt ask for a better more friendly place to visit, everywhere is so clean (bar maybe christania but obviously that isnt really part of denmark anyway?) and everyone is very friendly.

Berlin is very good for sight seeing and the nightlife is good, there are also a couple of brilliant hotels. Its not universally popular with UK folks though. Its a lot greener and with more water than most people imagine.

I'd vote Zurich during the "Zuerifascht" or during their StreetParade. The freshwater lake and near-by alps are class. Make sure you go during the Cinema-on-the-lake month (Kino am See) to enjoy the big screen at its most spectacular.

Totally chav-free zone and a very cultural experience if you like that sort of thing.
