Highlight then hit delete.

 

Highly dodgy - I've seen a couple of these too. Of course the first question is do you have an account with Washington Mutual?! If you don't, why would they send it?

The wording of the email is dodgy - promoting account details etc. Interestingly enough, the example shown on antiphising.org is not the same. The web page is a poor mock up with a very dodgy looking URL. It is not an secure session either. The link on the email above is (or appears to be) a secure encrypted session, authenticated by Verisign - I think this would catch a lot of people out.

Point to remember is that no bank is ever going to contact you in this way and ask for these details - therefore it's a scam and as David says - hit the delete button.

 

You would have thought that if they had "recently reviewed your account", they would be in a position to address you by name, and not simply "Washington Mutual customer".

Easy rule to remember: ANY mail which includes a link is a con; all genuine ones just tell you to log on as normal and then follow instructions.
