And while we are talking about the French.....
....is it true that they are going to fine people with road angels etc in their cars... the excuse given is that they interfere with police radios. ?

You mean the French police fining people with Road Angels ? You'll be lucky if they don't confiscate them on the spot and/or trash them. This has been discussed on here before - here
