Default How much will an own-fault crash affect my insurance?

40 year old male, no previous accidents / convictions, just had an RTA on way home, no injuries to either party.

Estimate £2K damage to my car, mostly plastics and a front wing (Passat PD130), estimate £500 to other car.

Full 6 years NCB (and NCB protection), premium for me & my wife was £450 with Direct Line. Any idea how much it will go up by?

thanks for any help, Craig

From: use the Marauder's Map to find out.

You're looking at dropping a couple of years' no claims. Likely to drop from around 65% to 40%, so expect around £750 for next year's cover.
