Default Fast Car

I asked the wife to get me a car mag when she was out, she returned with 'Fast Car', I seem to remember this to be an okay-ish mag, maybe I have got older but it used to feature semi decent modified cars, now its just utter sh1tters with huugge bodykits, scissor doors and 10 exhausts.

The journalism leave a lot to be desired, resorting to swearing in every sentence and they fill the rest of the pages with soft ****, which is good but most of the ladies are silicone enhanced Live Tv slappers with spotty *****.

Who is the target market, I suspect most are in institutions or still in school and only own a mountain bike, very few make it to adulthood to ruin cars in this way.

I mean each to their own and I like a bit of OTT in your face kind of stuff but where are the decent modifying mags, I can only find Retro but that tends to focus on stuff pre 1980 which I love but I am not daft enough to want to own a Dolomite Sprint.

Fast Car was pretty good when it first started out as was Revs and a few other select mags although as time got on there was less feature cars, more cr@p 1.2 litre corsas and more half naked ladies, before long thats about all it was and I ended up stopping getting it. much prefer a browse though classic cars now etc (since I own a reno 5 too) fast car has been **** for years now.

Fast Car used to be quite informative. they ran articles on how to do usefull tuning to your car, in-depth atricles on handling etc etc, now its just full of toss.

As far as I am aware, Max Power, Fast Car, Revs and the others are marketed at the 14-17 year age groups.

Its a sad reflection on todays up-coming car modders that they believe if it doesnt have "noz", neons and graphics, its isnt a fast car.
