Cant stand Sara ***, most annoying DJ in history, every other word is 'er'..

On the plus side shes only on at weekends, and also that annoying Wes guy has been sacked.

Controversial option here, but you can also listen to 'other' radio stations (of which 99% are better ) or do something else (anything else)

 

Are there non-commercial radio stations other than BBC ones in the UK now?

I used to enjoy listening to Chris Tarrant, but the barrage of annoying adverts made me migrate to Radio 1. Then Sara *** came along and made me abandon the radio in the mornings altogether...

 

no, and the only reason the bbc are not a commercial station is that we pay ***'s wages. and i want a refund!

 

I hardly ever listen to radio 1 anymore... hate the music they play these days..

Just have to put up with adverts on other stations

 

I only listen to Radio 1 to and from work, so I'm glad I won't accidently listen to her!!

I really don't like Scott Mill's radio style! So I hate it when he covers for Chris Moyles, or like this evening the drivetime show!

Mills is OK, didnt like him to start with but he seems to have gotten better.

I / we at work, don't listen to R1 anymore, can't be arsed with all the wiggaddywhack stuff, that and they only play about three different records per day...actually the final straw was when Mark and Lard left

 

What is more annoying though??, listening to that blonde bint going EERR all time as she is too thick to string two words together or listening to the new batch of "wild bean cafe" adverts hhmmm

I think my autochanger will stay well used, Radio sucks *****

Anyone remember when Radio 1 did their "ten hour takeover" a few months back?
Basically, the whole day was a huge request show, where you could get anything you wanted on.
That was the best music R1 has played for years. Radio 1`s own listeners didnt want to hear the modern crap thats on their playlists.
