Wood lane in Handsworth Birmingham?

Is it a rough area? Ex council? Or is it pretty leafy?

The women who ripped me off on ebay lives here and trying to decide if it is worth the 25 minutes drive? I quite fancy knocking on the door and demanding my money. I bet she pays up when I get going.

Handsworth!!! knocking on the door and demanding money. You've got bigger ***** than me mate, you’re likely to get a gun in your face round there. Our company have made it a “no go” area after 8pm.

know Handsworth quite well - I'd echo everybody else's words - be very careful. Place is trying hard to lose its rep but its not gonna happen ! I'd take backup and have 999 on speedial !

I assume you bought off her and didn't get the goods.
Depends on how you paid but you can register non-delivery of goods and get money back from e-bay (Paypal, there are restrictions)

Alternatively, post her userID here and leave NEG feedback if you have exhausted all possible avenues to resolve.

Looking at the Multimap link, it's Handsworth Wood rather than Handsworth. Handsworth doesn't really start until you scroll down a couple of times to the junction of Hamstead Road/Villa Road.

It's not the greatest of areas, but it is perfectly safe to walk around after dark (I know someone who lives further north up Hamstead Road and visit when I am in Brum).

Have a look at http://www.upmystreet.co.uk - enter the full postcode of the woman and scroll down to the Acorn profile. That will give you a good idea of what the area is like.

I didn't find a postcode for Wood Lane but found one in a nearby street which came upwith the following on upmystreet:-

I think that Wood Lane is quite similar.

 

Thanks for input guys, after I sent the biatch a rather threatening email she offered to refund half the money. Obviously I sent an even more aggressive email and pretty sure she will refund all the money.

So I ain't been over there yet, however 'barney the bat' is still very keen to pay her a visit
