you mentioned the condition of the remote in the ad so tell them they entered a binding contract and if they had any concerns they should have used ask seller before bidding, no refunds

You have told it like it is so can't see their problem. Only worry will be your feedback. If you're not bothered then tell him to go away. If you are just resell it minus the postage refund to him. Can't see him being able to cancel the payment as you've fulfilled the contract.

Some people are just plain stupid. I would tell him to f' off. I mean I cant even find words to describe this. Does he think you run a try before you buy ? I mean you could not have put it in simpler terms about the remote. !

If he sent the money and you've accepted it then i dont see how he can.

Likewise i agree that he will obviously give NF and it would be a pain getting it taken away. If you're not arsed about the NF, tell him to **** off in your own NF to him

You described it as it was.

Tell the guy politely but firmly where to go.

David,

I'm sorry to hear your Mother didn't think too much to the freeview box that you bought from me but I think you'll agree it was described exactly as it was delivered, and therefore you have no grounds on which to send it back to me or indeed cancel payment.

I understand this maybe not what you want to hear, but a deal is a deal at the end of the day and I hope you are able to see that from my point of view.

Regards,

Mike.

Now fúck off you mincer.

Let him return it on the promise of a refund - then **** him off with some negative feedback, and report him to ebay.

Or......put it down to experience and don't get mugged again LOL

going by experience I've had with E-Bay there policy and contract are not worth the paper they are printed. Personally I would not spend money on anything more than £10.

If he is really trying to shaft you he has already done it

WHY would he want to do it again by attempting a refund?

He may not have done anything on purpose.

It's going to sound well fishy however when MJ has to explain he never received any money.

What kit ever comes with a scart? NONE, you always have to buy them seperatly.

You told him about the remote.
