Default Property Ladder

These people always seem to have a dream of renovating/converting but never seem to have a clue what theyre doing!!!

I cant see the logic in transforming a high street shop into a 3 bedroom home! They have a budget of 15k and have had to remorgage both the house and the shop!!! They never have the money to do the job properlly and never take the experts advice!!! This ones not going to end well!

Over the last couple of years tho it hasnt needed skill to make money this way.House prices have shot up and people have profited on the strength of this alone.Certainly up north anyway.

At least it'll make a change from the usual Property Ladder - ie, everything goes wrong, budget out of control but they still make a fortune in the end....

The next series should be interesting - this series seems to have been filmed earlier in the year when house prices were still climbing a little, but now theyre heading the other direction it'll be interesting to see the 1st time BTL lemmings on it get a reality check!

Thumbs down

It's these kind of knuckle dragging monkeys are responsible for f**king up the housing market (along with the lenders and estate agents of course). Remortgage this then borrow again on the property before it's renovated etc....
