Default I'd like to like it, but...

Ooh, great. Let's race a Gixxer against a double decker bus on ice. Then we'll have 3 minutes of humorous similies and metaphors whilst Tiffany demostrates how he's so good that F1 didn't have him to save Schumey embarrassment. 5 minutes demonstrating how dangerous it is to drive off a cliff without a seatbelt and round it off with the stumpy munter in a short skirt crashing AGAIN

It'll start 3 minutes late, the first ads will be on by 10 past and it'll be all done by 25 past. There'll be no in depth reviews, no comparisons, no technical information and little point.

Bu99ers me as to why I watch it every week Roll on Top Gear, then we can waste some of our weekends too

I actually quite enjoy it (and Top Gear) but it could be better

As I said last week: rubbish. I'll let you know exactly HOW rubbish once I've actually watched it.

They'll probably try and give away a cool retro Renault Fuego and claim they fetch "up to £50,000 with the right options" one of those options being £49,800 in cash in the boot.

RUBBISH!

The show was ok, but only ok. That SLR was amazing, but its kinda old news as TG tested it in the last series. That Focus looked a bit weird, but i seem to like it more than the old one, can't wait for a HOT version of the focus...Cosworth/RS

and LOL @ Tiff at Woking, 'we are the 1st and only people allowed in here'

funny that F1 did a big tour of the place months ago

and next week they are testing more cars that TG tested at the beginnning of the year

Its also no wonder Maclaren cant win any championships, they should invest their money in the team, and not waste 200 million on a greenhouse

well, that was rubbish, although the SLR did sound good.

VBH: "These people got tickets for parking illegally"
Spod: "I parked in that bay over there (clearly marked with double yellow lines, blocking a service entrance and 2 large signs saying No Waiting, No Dropping Off and No Stopping) and I recieved a fine"

Good, serves you bloody right!

I must admit, I like Tiff I'd certainly welcome a days tuition from him. As for the munter, I'm sorry, but she ain't all that to look at and as for her driving. You'd have thought spending so much time with Tiff might have rubbed off a little, but I cringe every time she reaches for the handbrake. Every time she tries to drive a car anywhere near limits it just looks unbalanced and awkward, a fact highlighted every time they enter her into a race series on the show, and she crashes If they want totty, I quite liked it when (classic) Top Gear had Julia Bradbury and Kate Humble.
They could get away with not having exclusive features if they concealed them behind comprehensive group tests (a bit like Driven before it changed to Drivel), although the group featuring the Mac would be a little exclusive, but we all need our automotive ****
As for the Mac factory, what's the point of all the empty spaces Might make a statement, but the statement might be 'Look Mr. Sponsor, we can waste your money in the most lavish, extravagant, pointless ways ever imagined !' £200m for an empty building, cue Dire Straights 'Nothing For Money'.

Wipes the floor with Top Gear - Clarkson is a tosser and the other two are just run of the mill journalists with as much car knowledge and or pedigree as a small hamster called Patick who lives in a cage.
Same old rubbish each week of z list celebrities and supercars we'll never get to own just doesnt float my boat...
Show me VBH driving an elise / fuego / skoda fellatio anyday. And tiff is a leg end by the way...Top driver, knows his stuff, more knowledgable and less patronising than the lanky f$ckw!t on BBC2...
P

PS I didnt watch it last night...Hardly ever do - just fancied a rant!!

Yep tiff is a great driver just a pity the whole programme is so booooring, I love top gear even if I find the fact that shorty has got his head up clarksons **** most of the time annoying its streets ahead of 5th gear.

Top Gear is far better - 5th Gear really can be complete crap (however I do watch it anyway if Im in). Plato reviewing a car is like 3 short sentenses separated with some long pauses, and thats it!

A question: has Fifth Gear ever been rude about a current vehicle they are reviewing? At least Clarkson will say a car is rubbish if he thinks it is. But FG still seem to be at the brown-nose stage of reviewing.
