Private life threads on SN
Not been on here long but I'm amazed with how many saddo's start threads asking advice about their private life.
Do you sit in front of the PC at home violently searching for your perfect wife whilst planning a lonely trip to a strip-club?
Go out and have a beer, make some real friends instead of typing your way into irreversible sadness.

I'd like to propose this question....
Is there anyone here who loves their job? Regardless of wage and forget possessions, and what I mean by that you wake up feeling "yay another day at work" or do you feel "sigh, another day of shoveling the s**t!"
Apply the same questions to Relationships.
If both are answered with "yes I am truely happy" You either have rose tinted spectacles, Chemistry's latest advancement of prozac or home-grown. Or you are in complete denial/ignorance to reality.
If you really are 100% happy, I'm sorry I just don't believe you...either that or you are the luckiest person alive. In which case, everyone hates you - so apply "Denial/Ignorance" to your condition...beacuse you don't have any freinds as they are all jealous .

Not been on here long
some people do genuinly require anonymous advice and i think its quite good that they can seek the advice here (good and bad advice) as opposed to stewing on things and having no direction at all.
if your life is so perfect, what the hell are you doing stuck in front of a PC, when you should be out drinking and making friends, as per your advice...
hmm, can only see one saddo from here.
enjoy.

What are you talking about?? I'm not content, who is?!? However I have a scoob hence why I'm on this site but people doing threads about not getting girlfriends and saying they need help with things in their personal life, asking internet geek strangers is in my eyes funny and for them - very sad.
Get some real friends, or alternatively - ask your mum.

To be fair though, the only friends you'd be making down the pub at 11am on a Monday morning are the alcholics and the cleaner
Also there has been some fantastic threads on here where someone (as a last resort) has cried for help and received great support and advice, but when you read the "I'm 36 and live with my mum, why can't I find a girlfriend" threads it does get a bit sad - I'm sure that ones a windup mind

Ironic humour, to them with half a brain is humorous. If you think that thread was serious then I hope you enjoyed it.
I wonder how many "men" on here get their wife from "singles r us dot com"?? Maybe they fall into the category "too sad for internet love".
Most on here seem fine and normal but an alarming amount really do need to get out more.

scoobyjawa - I'm trying to work out what makes people so sad asking people they don't know about personal matters. I'm on here cos I got a Impreza. Didn't realise it was I'm a sad loser-net.
I'll stay in the general forum where people actually talk about Subarus.
I like the replies though - hit the odd nerve didn't they. Sad geeks.

pretty obvious it was a sh!te attempt at humour look at the 5th post in the thread (posted by me)
and too them with half a brain, yes I could see why it was humourous, I'll just be glad I have a full brain and have a better sense of humour.

Scoobynet pub crawl - blue rally jackets, gormless blokes talking about on-line dating.
Alot of decent and helpful people on here though. Its a bit like school/work. There are the saddy's wherever you go.

So your on the NON-SCOOBY RELATED section complaining that people are talking about non-scooby related stuff! That's what I call REALLY sad!
A lot of people think owning a scoob is sad and geeky but that didn't stop you did it?
Most people on here are human beings with human experiences so if someone wants to post something personal and ultimately anonymous then they're gonna get responses from other human beings about their experiences/opinions. No harm in it. What the hell does it matter to you what people are talking about? If people wanna post this stuff then let them get on with it.

Well funny.
I like the P1 comment. I'm selling the fast cars and going sensible now. i need a house soon and the way things are going I won't be able to afford a snail shell let alone a village located 4 bedroom on a 1/4 of an acre!!
Dunno why ppl are giving Bigman a hard time as I've often thought the same, though not sure about actually posting it!!!
