Long Beach, LA
Been a few years since I was in Long Beach, but there is a bloody big ship there.
The Queen Mary.
I think it was, until the QM2 arrived, the biggest ship ever built.
It's a hotel now, but you can get on it for a wander about and you can go everywhere on it, from the engine room up to the bridge.
Worth seeing.
For anything else, you'll need a car to get about.
How about the Baywatch beach for some sight seeing !!!!!!!!!!!!

When I went in 1998 Rodeo Drive was incredibly vulgar, apparently it is now fast turning into the Carnaby Street of LA so I would give that a miss!
