To me he looks like a cross, Bulldog, Pitbull and Dogue de Bordeaux. Someone in the pub said he thought he was a recognised breed, but I can't find a thing. Anyone?
I'll go with the 95% boxer, the first pic that head is 100% boxer but if it is 100% boxer its overweight and Ive never seen a black boxer before so chances are its crossed with something else like a mastiff or something or other.
Yeah, I don't really care what he is, he's just a great dog. He's had a pretty rough start to life - he's two - so is a bit nervous at the moment. I don't think he's overweight as he's as solid as a rock. Visit to the Vet in a couple of days, I'll let him settle in a bit first as I'm told Vet's are just about the only thing he doesn't like.
there is a lot of Boxer going on there and do see a bit Dogue de Bordeaux / Mastiff in the mix.
The body up to the neck does look Boxerish and as such could be a bit overweight. Keep an eye on the weight issue as the breeds mentioned in the mix there are all prone to heart murmers and and excess weight can put a bit strain on the heart.
my ugly dog being sat on by Tiggs Jnr who is being sold to the circus (with ugly dog) to star as "Devil Dog Rider".......coming to a town near you soon.
