Default Nitro v Electric

With all the R/C car threads on here I fancy another for my next childhood, some people only have 2, or even 1, I reckon you shjould have childhood every few years. I used to use my Brothers Optima mid with all the trick bits on and it was good fun, used to take out the front driveshafts.

Anyway, kid down our road has a Nitro car, dont know what it is but he and his mates get them going but to be honest they dont grab me, they seem to have a power band into which you have to get them before they pick up speed at which point they go mental and are very noisy, not really a problem as I have relatives with plenty of space and we have a big garden but I used to like the fact you could slide the electric cars about at low speed and do donuts and stuff wheras the Nitro cars seem to be about mega speed.

They also seem to be tempramental but I suppose you dont have to charge up 3 sets of batteries.

Complete pain in the ****. nitro gets covered in $hit nackers tyres, ends up in the wall. And for ever breaks down.
