Yes and the direct approach is almost seen as a crime nowadays which is why the country is like it is, full of doogooders that don't do any good.

Tell her like it is, she's fat, unnatractive and selfish and probably soon to be a drain on resources (unless she goes private).

Lenny has already done something about it. Got it on with someone else he could manage without a harness.

 

Perhaps people are happy being large even if others don't like it.

And how will it burden the NHS? Smoking burdens the NHS, alcoholics burden the NHS both these are avoidable and unecessary.

Diabetes can affect many different people. Heart attacks hit many different people, so just how will being fat / obese burden the NHS? Almost all things that effect overweight people can effect thin people.

Also if you go by government figures and the BMI stats then Jonny Wilkinson is overweight, Pincent and Redgrave are overweight.

Look at America, we are going that way. look at the fitness levels of children now compared to 20 or 50 years ago. it will be a problem! there are many health issues associated with obesity.

your point on the BMI is a poor one. You know full well it's aimed at an average and examples such as that will no doubt fall outside those figues..... they are after all only a guide. I'm sure if you gave those guys a full fitness and health tast they would pass quite easily.

I'm not saying it isn't true, but I would like to see evidence to substantiate these claims.

Indeed to me she is.

She is selfish because she has a husband and more importantly children that she is more than likely going to leave behind early.

I'll add, if it is a genuine medical condition then that's a different matter indeed, but if it's because she's found a cake she likes on a regular basis then she needs to learn to stop.

Hammy- I think you were largely (no pun intended) ignored because it is common knowledge that all the above have been reported on, or said in interviews many times. The selfish comment is apparent to anyone with half a brain too.

 

I must've missed these interviews, or maybe I interpreted them a different way.

Oh well, she has been good to me in the past, so I felt I should stick up for her.

 

Why??? I can't stand these stupid adverts with a bunch of obese women going on about "being naughty" and "sinful" about eating double-moca f$cking choca ice creams and cakes pretendiong they don't mind being fat slobs.

Unless you have an illnes there is no excuse for obescity. It shows a lack of self-respect.
