What do you do with the accelerator? Just plant it down?
How many revs? (RL is only 7k)

Wear some good trainers, put one foot in front of the other, lean forward, push off with your back foot and then shove as hard as you can with your front foot. Remember to bring your back foot forward or you'll fall on your face.

fast bloke is right - on the rev limiter then get your foot off the clutch as fast as you can. Might be worth feathering the brake with your left foot also - just to check any wheelspin.

I did it in my Scoob - once - you could smell burning clutch for ages afterwards - it is different in a good solid german car though

Must have confused the ECU or something.
Same with left foot braking on any new VW Group motor - ECU cuts the power and therefore you are effectively left foot braking in neutral. All quite amusing once you peel yourself off the inside of the windscreen....

Senior AP has it right of course. If you want to ruin your engine, clutch, gearbox, driveshafts, etc long before their time-just go ahead and do it, hope you can afford it.

It cracks me up that he claims not to be scared of being prosecuted for effectively stealing someone's car and driving uninsured with no licence and yet he is still scared of his Dad finding out he has cooked the clutch!
Will you get a smacked bottom Audi-Boy?
Just DO IT!!!!

This is how I do it succesfully.
1.Hold revs at 4k
2.let go of the clutch and at the same time (might take some work) push the throttle to the floor.
I drive an '86 5 cyl Audi coupe quattro (no turbo)
