Question Tattoo removal

Sorry everyone, a very very random question here!

One of my friends has a few tattoos he would like to remove. There are various treatments around and types of lazer etc. But do any of you know anything about these??!

I have heard that certain colours are easier to remove, my friends tattoos are black and one is blue. Any comments??

I have also heard that non professional tattoos are harder to remove due to the colour being at different levels in the skin. Is this a problem for new removal techniques?? My mates tattoos are all non professional....D'oh

If anyone has any comments/suggestions I would be gratefull. Or if there are places on the web that have reliable info that would be cool too.

Thanks

From what I've heard, very expensive and painful, involves lasers or skin grafts generally has to be done private unless he can get a genuine excuse for getting them done on the NHS.
