Thumbs up want an extra day of every year??

well apparantly if we are to make st georges day a national holiday in the uk, we need 300000 votes minimum. last time I checked there were around 230000 or so, so if you would like another bank holiday every year please vote by clicking here.

I dont know about you but I wouldnt mind an extra day off work every year

Where'd you get the idea 300,000 votes means anything other than advertising revenue for this company? What a load of garbage LOL
Also, why didn't they register as a .co.uk if they are soo patriotic? I hate .coms!

Just voted, but I doubt if by registering 300000 times will change anything

voted - though will it make a difference anyway?

I remember that when the censous (sp) was on a few years ago the Religion question had the answer of "Jedi" 10 times more than what was needed to make it an official religion - but it got poo-pooed.

As a company owner I say no!

Less holidays is what we need, not more - I want my employees to work harder not have it easier .

As for St George's Day - what a joke. Most people know nothing about him and anyway what is so good about being English?

<flame suit on>

tiggers.
