Is it just me?

I'm trying to sell my old Range Rover at the moment, as I need the money, & it's advertised on a number of different websites, but mainly those related to Land Rovers.

I've had a bit of interest, but only one out of four, have been in the UK - the others, stem from Sweden (that strange sounding one I posted about before), South Africa, & somewhere else that I've yet to pinpoint.

Why though, would people want to pay to import a car over there, that's only worth £3k?
Does it seem strange?
How much is it to ship a car to S Africa incidently? Anyone know?

My mates ancient and shagged Volvo 740 Turbo has been bought and shipped to South Africa, and that was worth the square root of **** all.

 

Is it worth the bother from my point of view, to let someone do that, or should I just try and sell it in the UK? Again, the bloke hasn't seen it except in pictures.
