Got caught speeding on Sunday and have got to produce my documents to the police. I've got everything else apart from the paper part of my license, however I've got the photo card bit. Its always the same these things sit staring you in the face until you need the buggers.

Anyoner know if the photo bit will do? I know I've got to get a replacement in order to send it to DVLA to be endorsed but will the police get the hump becuase I've lost this document.

I've got till Saturday to produce the docs so am going to tear the house apart tonight to look for it.

when i got a producer, I lost my old paper driving license (one of them things I never "got round to doing") due to moving house (I know I should have changed address on license etc) - told the police I was sending off for a replacement, and they said that's fine, we will put you down as failing to produce driving license, and give you 6-8 weeks to get the replacement license and show it to us.
