Favourite bottled beers
Just enjoying a sup of one of my faves - Young's Elysium, a lovely blonde beer made with elderflower. Available from Sainsbury's, and better when it has cooled out of the fridge, i.e. chill it, but then let cool for 30 minutes at room temp.
Also partial to a few bottles of Leffe at the moment.
So whats everyone elses current favourite/s?

I'm a larger drinker and my favourites are (not in order) Miller Genuine Draft, Fosters Ice, Budweiser, Budvar, Corona (Mexican beer)
I cannot stand Becks or Stella

Currently have a selection in the fridge for various moods. Corona (must be will a wedge of lime), Hoegaarden (both normal and grand cru), Duvel and Kwak. I even have the proper glasses for them, but not the Corona though as this is best out of the bottle.

I like a bottle of Kwak or 2 as well, although the glass is a bitch to clean and fragile in its bizarre wooden holder.
I'm about to enjoy an Erdinger Pikantus followed by a bottle of Marstons Pedigree I was lucky enough to pick up in Spain, it's been about a year since I had a pint of bitter- I've even got a pint glass to drink it out of.

Nacro,
Is Kwak the one where you have a bulbous glass ball with a sort of long spout that you drink it through, and then the whole thing sits in a wooden handle and base?
If that makes any sense - Looks a bit like left overs from a chemistry set!

Yes it is Vatanen- looks like a test tube or something- I've polished it off while watching the semi-naked old skool pop stylings of something good on top of the pops for a change. Off out to hit some bars now.

i'm still with budvar, btw. 500ml brown bottles, not the ponce green once with only 330ml
howsabout Benedictus from Durham Brewery
I've had it out of the barrel and it's 8.4% but you can get it in bottles.
3 pints of the stuff in one night as it tastes beautiful
but I then lost the next 4 days coming round...

it slips down a treat as it hasn't got that strong ale taste like a lot of other stuff but it's got a hell of a kick after a few too many

Go for the proper Belgium bottled stuff. Kwak counts, and yes it is the stuff that is served in a chemistry set.
Have still got a few bottles of "delerium tremens" in my cupboard, 9%, drink a few of those and you can see why they called it that. Leffe, Chimay (both Red & Blue) were both good. An old mate had parents over in Belgium. In his kitchen he'd managed to make a display of nearly 200 different empty belgian beer bottles. Nearly all good, nearly all strong - I remember a "low alcohol" one at 2.something%, which made me laugh. Theyalso did some lovely fruit beers, which were pretty strong and just tasted like e.g. Ribena only nicer!
Still like a good real English bitter on tap, but the belgians make good stuff for bottling
